Art Night participants

See the Calendar page for Melanie's workshop/events schedule.

Engage your imagination and the creative side of spirituality in a safe, encouraging, meditative/prayerful atmosphere. I'll bring wonderful art collage or writing materials, and you bring your heart, curiosity & hands along to play and relax with a small group. You don't have to draw-- you don't need art experience-- you can tear paper or cut out pictures or play with pipe cleaners, all in a spirit of joy and listening to God or your deeper self. Or if you already enjoy art-making as exploration and expression, stretch out with festive materials and the gift of working alongside others.

I'll introduce the workshop with a theme so we'll have someplace to start, I'll give you the tour of the materials (glitter glue & feathers included!), and then we'll start creating. At the close of our gathering, we'll share briefly of our wisdom that rises from the process and the images themselves. We're always amazed at the richness and beauty of our souls and our work, especially in creative circles like these.

See the Events Calendar page schedule for open Art Night workshops in the Portland area. Or contact me to arrange for me to lead a workshop for your community or retreat. High school age and older preferred, groups of 5 to 25 preferred, with ample table space.
