Ramallah Journey

Greetings!

In November 2001 I travelled on a marvelous journey to Ramallah, Palestine as a part of Friends United Meeting's 1000 Candles of Hope Project. Coordinator Nancy Maeder invited me along as photographer, and she and I carried greeting cards from 25 churches in the US to 1100 students, staff, and faculty at the Ramallah Friends Schools and Friends Refugee Camp Play Center. I'm deeply moved with appreciation and gratitude for the Palestinian people I met along the way who moved my heart with concern for their difficult economic, social, and political situation.
