Pendle Hill Artist in Residence 2002-2003 In 2002, I recieved the Minnie Jane Quaker Artist in Residence scholarship at Pendle Hill Quaker Study and Contemplative Center near Philadelphia, PA-- quite an honor and opportunity! I studied art and other coursework, and took part in the rich worship and community life during the 2002-2003 adademic year, then returned as a part-time employee in 2003 and 2004, glad to be back among friends and in such an inspiring place.
