TENDING THE SACRED: Art & Spirit Workshop Saturday, December 6, 2008 Cost: $65, includes all art supplies. Lunch on your own- brown bag or nearby restaurants. Who: Space limited to 6 adults ready for spiritual expression. Theme: As winter begins, honor the natural movement of our spirits to slow down and take a deep look within. Tend the Sacred in your heart as you make room for a day of creativity and quiet, sharing and listening. Gather with others in a spirit of wisdom and play to nourish your soul. What will happen: Engage the creative side of spirituality in an encouraging, meditative/prayerful atmosphere. I'll begin with a juicy theme introduction on Tending the Sacred Within to inspire you, then provide wonderful art collage materials and gentle guidance. You bring your heart, curiosity & creativity to play and discover in a sacred small group experience. Location: East Burnside Building, 1715 E Burnside St, Portland OR 97214. See map. Meeting room in the attic of this beautiful building of wellness & therapy offices. Easy street parking is easy near the big yellow & cream 3-story house/building. No snacks or candles in the attic, but water bottles are fine and your own food is ok downstairs.
