Melanie will return to New Mexico in December '09

It's true, I fell in love with the Southwest and it's calling me to come back for a season of exploration and art-making in the desert. The sacred landscape, culture, and an abundance of opportunities opened me in new ways and gave me great confidence to follow my call to art and spiritual direction ministry. I was especially moved by the gift opportunity to meet artist Meinrad Craighead, a hero of mine who invited me to return for some more conversation. So, I'm on my way.

I'll be receiving a house-sitting opportunity in Albuquerque, December through February, and discovering what will unfold from there. The pilgrimage continues! If you'd like to support my journey, donate here, or see my support wish list.
