watercolor Wow-- something wonderful happened to create this painting! It's a combination of images superimposed, including my chest x-rays from the car accident in '05, the Orange Mapwing Butterfly from the Opening painting honoring Matt Lyon, inner space that reminds me of Breathe and Deep Breath, and even the image of a tuning fork! This image speaks to me of how vibrant and alive we all can be, especially when we're in alignment with God/Love and our best selves. We get to listen close to the ring of truth within us, just as we would listen closely to the hum of the tuning fork. I believe this painting represents the kind of work I offer in spiritual direction sessions as well-- to help others hear the truth in themselves and in the world around us, to bring about the transformations we need.
