This painting came directly from meditation on a modern translation of Romans 5:1-2. This scripture talks about opening our doors to God, only to discover that God's door is already open to us. In fact, we can walk through to stand in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory. I imagine flinging my arms up in praise, surrounded by the power and movement of the Spirit.
